My bike was bought in July last year after much debate and a few trial runs with various other models. I couldn’t be happier with this machine. It is everything a sportsbike could be and more. Having yet to take it on the track and stretch its legs in that arena I am left to marvel at the ease at which it handles public roads. From highway blasting to back road carving it handles everything with ease and comfort.

The machines strengths are many but they start with its balance, its light, and easy to steer, it responds to input with precise and balanced movement. Its turn in is very quick and balanced, getting to good lean angles effortlessly and when there it stays planted allowing for adjustment mid turn if needed.

On exit its fueling is exemplary ensuring a smooth and controlled corner exit making the bike faster and safer with the power delivery being linear throughout the rev range.

Its ergonomics are good but a little tight for me in the knee region. Of course it doesnt help that i have raised the stock pegs with the addition of aftermarket pegs.

The metering is good and easy to see. Although the clutch cable in its natural position is annoyingly in front of the odometer.

The paint and general finish of the bike is very neat, albeit tight with usual honda styling, everything has its place. It isn’t the easiest bike to work on for this reason but everything has a price i guess, and getting the bike as compact and manouverable as it is meant that they had to cram the essentials in the space they had.

Overall it gets a 9 out of 10 from me and a recommendation to anyone looking at this style of machine to take a test drive and see for yourself what the hype is!
