Oil changes and filters on break in

Stumbled on this great observation of why to change your oil and filter asap on run in. Check out the pics

Last weekend I performed my first oil change in my 2011 FZ1S (with only 50km). I checked the old oil in the pan and cut the oil filter to see how the things was in there.
Here are the pictures.

* All KUDOS go to Maxchobi of Argentina and his recently acquired FZ1. Thanx Max

  • oyly : That\'s right! Was going for 4/5 today when I crashed, got really close yesterday! ;-)
  • theDude : 3/5?
  • oyly : 3/5
  • oyly : Ripping it up @ Suzuka under blue skies! :-)
  • oyly : Drove all the way from Motegi to Sugo, and 20% chance of rain just turned into 100% chance of rain.... :-(
  • oyly : It\'s up and down. Yesterday when the race was it was a beautiful 27 degrees. None of the forecasted rain. The cloud cover and morning fog seemed to cool things down nicely!
  • theDude : At sugo, eh? hopefully less warm then down here!
  • oyly : :-D
  • tougewolfman : Good stuff mate!
